What does a website cost?
The short answer: with us between €200 and €1,499, one-off and excluding VAT. After that you only pay for hosting and domain. Below you'll read what you get for each amount, what determines the price and which costs come later.

What you get for €200
Cheap doesn't mean bare here. A Start site is one page, but a complete, modern one. Look at our painter demo; that single page has:
- A striking opening photo with your main message
- Six services with a short explanation
- A four-step way of working
- A price list with starting prices
- Recent projects with photos
- Reviews and frequently asked questions
- A quote form that arrives over WhatsApp
It works on every phone, loads fast and has SEO basics, just like our more expensive sites. What Start doesn't have: multiple pages, a design entirely from scratch and links to other systems.
Why that's possible for the price
One page, not ten
Everything sits below each other on one page. That saves a lot of building and testing, not quality.
A proven layout
We don't start from scratch, but from a layout we keep improving. Your style, photos and copy make it yours.
A small studio
No office, no account managers. You pay for the work on your site, not for the organisation around it.
What determines the price?
The starting price covers what's in the package. This makes it more expensive, and this never costs extra:

What does it cost after launch?
A website has to live somewhere. We can arrange that for you, but you can also do it yourself. Cancel any month, the first month is free.
- A regular domain name, such as .nl or .com, is included in hosting. A premium domain name (more than €20 a year) you pay yourself.
- A Shopify store also has a subscription with Shopify itself, about €30 a month.
- Changes after launch cost €40 an hour. Starter, Pro and Shopify include free hours.
And elsewhere?
An indication, because prices vary a lot per provider and per wish.
Build it yourself
With a site builder such as Wix or Squarespace you usually pay a monthly fee, plus your own time. Design, copy and getting found are up to you.
A freelancer
For a small custom website you often see amounts from a few hundred to a few thousand euros.
An agency
Agencies often start at a few thousand euros, with more meetings and planning around it.

Why is a €200 website so cheap?
Because it's one page, with a layout we've built many times and keep improving. The design is still in your own style and the site is just as fast and modern as our more expensive packages. You pay less because there's less to build, not because quality was cut.
Are there hidden costs?
No. After launch you only pay for hosting and domain (€15 a month, or you arrange it yourself). Changes after launch cost €40 an hour; Starter, Pro and Shopify include free hours. If anything is added, you hear about it upfront.
What if I don't like the design?
Then you pay nothing. The first design is free. Only once you're happy with it do we start building, and then you pay half at the start and half at launch.
Can I move from Start to a bigger package later?
Yes. As your business grows, we add pages. You get a fixed price upfront for what's added.
Do the prices include VAT?
No, all prices exclude VAT.
